Welcome to Trafalgar Community Infant School. We are a three form entry infant school situated in the town of Horsham.
Our Core Values are central in all that we do, and are displayed all around our school on our Trafalgar Ship. … we love learning, we learn everywhere, we include everyone, we are safe, we are healthy and active, we make friends, we are kind, we show respect.
Children in our school love coming here, saying that they “like learning outside”, “with the help of our kind adults and friends”, and “learning by playing”. At Trafalgar, we learn about our local community, and our global community, celebrating our similarities and helping others where we can. The children take on lots of responsibilities such as eco monitors, librarians, learning councillors and school councillors.
The children make good progress during their three years with us, they tell us that they feel safe and they behave well so that we can all learn together.
We are proud of our most recent Ofsted inspection which graded us as a 'good' school overall with some 'outstanding' elements. Here are some of their comments from the report: "Pupils' behaviour is exemplary ... pupils are proud of their school and they enjoy taking on responsibilities ... the school's work to keep the pupils safe and secure is outstanding ... good teaching means that pupils are making good progress over time ... teaching is good and some is outstanding ... classrooms are vibrant and motivating."
I hope that you can find what you need on our website but the best way to learn about our wonderful school is to come and visit us. Please contact the School Office if you would like to know more!
